Jeffrey Anthony Maskell – CEO and Senior Consultant Petrotechnical Data Management.
Jeffrey is an energetic and passionate business leader with significant international expertise in running multi-million dollar E&P Upstream IT and Technology businesses and major transformational programmes, within the Oil & Gas sector. Jeffrey’s 32 years of experience in exploration data management has enabled him to work with a number of the key industry Geotechnical service providers and includes, DPTS, CGGVeritas, Petroconsultants and SAIC. At SAIC Jeffrey headed up the Petrotechnical Global Data Management Practice and in particular BP’s Global Data Management programme, for which he was recognised by SAIC with the Program Execution Excellence Award in 2008. Jeffrey has travelled extensively across the Oil & Gas Industry and also worked/resided in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Geneva, Houston and London. Jeffrey provides strategic vision and business/technical roadmaps to enable transformational change and to deliver sustainable data management practices. Jeffrey’s core belief is in the structures, standards, process, procedures and workflow management within these environments that are designed to fit the client’s business model and that technology is a tool designed to support that process. Recognition that in the past twenty years IT and technology have been established in many organisations, where such technology drives the model and thus fails to deliver the productivity and operational efficiencies desired. With the last 20 years working at Managing Director, VP and Director Level, he understands how to motivate, mobilise and organise cross-functional teams of 120+ to deliver against challenging business targets. Ken Gauld – Project and Financial Control Consultant
Ken has 30 years of experience in Financial Management, Project Control, and Auditing and combines these skills with his extensive experience and understanding of the Service Delivery Models that address the Petrotechnical services Sector. Ken combines a unique blend of financial, technical and commercial expertise that has been tested in high pressure environments and projects. Ken was senior project controller at SAIC and supported the BP Global Data Management programme, where he devised and developed the operational business model, underpinning this successful, global programme.
Ken’s International experience with the UK Government’s Overseas Development Administration, has given Ken the opportunity to travel extensively, addressing financial audits, overseas aid, working with heads of departments, ambassadors and high commissioners. Ken’s international assignments have variously included: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ghana, Fiji, Vanuatu, Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, Malawi and more recently Trinidad. Ken is based in Glasgow.
Gary Lundeen – International Management and Strategy Consultant
Gary has 30 years experience in the oil & gas industry, and he brings a global perspective to his work with an international career highlighted by assignments in the former Soviet Union, Europe, Asia and the Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and North & South America. With a commanding academic and scientific background, Gary operates at the strategic and operations levels and is able to develop technology refresh road maps, architectural frameworks, and infrastructure alignments. Gary’s approach is the design of long term sustainable environments, fit for business purpose, and he is able to establish a transition plan to sustainability by minimising costs and delivering standards, processes, procedures, and Governance to address both back- and front-office environments. Gary’s extensive experience enables him to operate in partnership with senior management and to devise strategy, policy, vision, and direction to achieve specific business objectives and capabilities. Tom Ripley – Chief Technology Officer
Tom has over 30 years international experience in the industry and is considered to be one of the leading specialists in the field of spatial data management and its role with respect to Petrotechnical data and the GIS technologies that underpin and support these data. Tom believes that Data is the key; everything else in respect of technology is the wrapper. Tom’s approach to spatial data management delivers solutions that are appropriate for the business and where business benefit can be derived. Jess B. Kozman
Jess has 30 years global experience in geosciences, information technology, and data management. He has hands-on experience with data management solutions at every global super, over 20 national oil companies, and over 200 independent explorers and producer with proven success in seismic interpretation, IT management, technical sales and support, and business development. Ian D. K. Kelly – Computer Software Consultant
Ian is a Computer System Professional with over 40 years experience in the application of technical excellence to data processing systems. Background includes:–

Laurence Modeste – Information Technology, Business Development and Trinidad Offshore Operations Consultant
Through the appropriate and effective application of business development and management principles and techniques, and with sound technical expertise, Laurence is experienced at managing offshore operations, delivering a high quality, remote access service for data loading, data cleanup, data migration projects to clients based on the mainland USA or in the UK and Europe. This service delivers a substantial price differential benefit to clients for repetitive, labour intensive tasks relating to the management of Petrotechnical data. Steve Jepps – Computer Software Consultant
Steve has over 40 years experience of applying computer software to the solution of real-world problems. A mathematics graduate of Oxford University, Steve served as the technical director of DPTS Ltd, heading the team responsible for the development of software for processing and managing geophysical data, and taking responsibility for the company’s IT strategy. While at DPTS, he authored pioneering software for digitizing exploration data which had previously only been accessible on paper or film.
Steve’s projects as a consultant to the oil industry include:-
• The enhancement of seismic processing software for BP;
• Work for ERC Tigress to help develop their geophysical workstation product;
• The development of automatic tape format recognition software for Spectrum Energy and IT Ltd.

Andrew is a highly qualified Computer Science graduate Technical Project Manager with over 20 years experience and skills in Software Engineering in various fields including RDBMS/Warehousing environments. His last 7 years have been spent in the Data Warehousing sector, working for the UK Meteorological Office on what was the fourth largest known database in the world.
