Westheimer Energy Consultants Limited (Westheimer) launched its Integrated Seismic Data Store (ISDS) at the SEG Conference in San Antonio. Our experts demonstrated the solution and how the integration of the software components and data structure is able to deliver a full life cycle seismic data management solution.ISDS addresses Field, Pre Stack and Post Stack Seismic and offers a comprehensive data management solution, integrated with an ESRI Arc GIS front end for spatial interrogation and extraction, utilises the Troika Magma seismic data management software to load all seismic data types from tape and or disk, provides quality control and assurance on data load and is interfaced with OpenSpirit to deliver seismic to the application of choice. ISDS provides row level access to CDP’s which are fully indexed providing extraction of data through complex polygons on an Inline, XLine, Time, Depth basis.

ISDS PROVIDES, FAST, ACCURATE, SCALEABLE ACCESS TO ALL YOUR SEISMIC DATA

ISDS is a full seismic life cycle solution that delivers an integrated data storage solution for Field, Pre Stack and Post Stack seismic data. With managed storage capacity to hundreds of petabytes. ISDS is integrated with ESRI’s ArcGis Server and SDE to provide spatial interrogation and extraction. Tibco Openspirit provides the middleware to export and transfer seismic between multiple E&P applications. Troika’s MAGMA solution addresses the seismic upload and quality control of all types of seismic and all of this is based upon FileTek’s StorHouse solution, integrating its Relational Manager and Relational File System to provide a comprehensive seismic data management solution capable of meeting today’s increasing challenges for seismic in scale and in granular access to 3D, 4D Pre and Post Stack data.

ISDS provides the seismic data storage and management solution to address scale and volume, to provide granular access and retrieval, to move, transfer and export data between applications, and to upload in excess of 30Terabytes of data per day to your processing and interpretation systems.

ISDS is SQL server and Oracle compatible. Seismic is spatial in essence, interrogation and extraction should be spatial and an ability to identify 3 D cubes in a spatial way, extracting a specified data set by Inline and or Xline, CDP range and depth, will reduce overhead, eliminate de-staging to disk and offer a more accurate and very high quality solution
